Curatorial Statement

Canadian Voices is a celebration of emerging artists redefining the Canadian landscape. Our country has a history of producing internationally renowned singers and storytellers – from Neil Young to Joni Mitchell to Gordon Lightfoot and Sarah McLachlan. These artists represent just a handful of Canadian voices. Emerging and established singer–songwriters in the fields of folk and rock are taking the world by storm and are poised to leave a lasting mark on the international music scene. Some of this remarkable talent take centre stage to showcase all things Canadian.
