Roy Cape and the Kaiso All-Stars

Roy Cape is the world’s leading calypso alto saxophonist and bandleader of the renowned Kaiso All Stars. Cape and his dedicated band of musicians, including Blaxx, the band’s lead male vocalist, have been dubbed the best calypso band in the world, setting the standard for the genre and boasting a repertoire that spans the entire spectrum of Caribbean music, including calypso, soca, dance hall, reggae, zouk, dub, kaiso and jazz.
Over the past two decades, the Kaiso All Stars – under the direction of Roy Cape – earned the reputation as the most sought-after brass band in recording studios, calypso shows and major concerts.
