Exploring the subtleties of the human condition with humour and intelligence.

The daring choreographic experiments of Ame Henderson make her one of the most provocative artists in the country. Her unorthodox approach to dance making and movement invention confront the very traditions of dance. Her company Public Recordings is dedicated to the creation of innovative interdisciplinary new works.

Featuring seven dancers and two musicians, relay crosses disciplines and continents to make a performance that asks important questions about the politics and possibility of togetherness. Borrowing from memories of dances past, relay re-imagines unison, asking how we maintain our original selves while working together.
