Sail Canada Basic Dinghy Sailing (Adult)
CANSail 1 & 2
This course is designed for complete beginners to dinghy sailing, and also for those wishing to improve their skills and develop their experience. Based on the nationally recognized Sail Canada CANSail 1 & 2 standard, this course is taught on board our RS Fevas and 420 performance racing dinghies. You will learn fundamental sailing concepts such as direction and balance in this fun and challenging course. Note that certain dinghy maneuvers involve getting wet so please bring a change of clothes.

Sail Canada Intermediate Dinghy Sailing (Adult)
CANSail 3 & 4
HCSP’s Intermediate Dinghy standard is designed for students who have achieved their CANSail 3 & 4 accreditation, and includes training in advanced boat handling, boat acceleration, racing fundamentals, sail theory and spinnaker work. We encourage those that attain this level to join the club as a member and enjoy a season of on-water adventure with the amazing backdrop of Toronto’s world class skyline. Note that certain dinghy maneuvers involve getting wet so please bring a change of clothes.

This Junior Sailing course is designed for eager young sailors to get extra sailing experience before the summer begins. Taught by our CANSail certified instructors, it provides the opportunity for participants to advance through their CANSail levels, with focus on the participants individual sailing needs and aspirations. Under the guidance and supervision of our coaches, participants will have fun sailing various dinghies ranging from RS Fevas to 420s in Toronto’s beautiful inner harbour. Please note that if you do not have any prior CANSail experience, please call our offices and we will see how we can best accommodate you. Note that certain dinghy maneuvers involve getting wet so please bring a change of clothes.
