Charlize-Nhung Nguyễn is a contemporary jewellery artist whose work focuses on the relationship between design object and its medium. In her recent work, she expands her material exploration and techniques to reference the human body as a journey. With a background in architecture and goldsmithing, she often works at the intersection of contemporary design and craft theory. She completed her BFA in Material Arts and Design from OCAD University. Her thesis exhibition won the Medal Award, the Carol Rapp Award, and others. She exhibited at the 2018 Autor Contemporary Jewellery Fair in Bucharest, Romania.
Charlize-Nhung was accepted as an Artist-in-Residence (Metal) at Harbourfront Centre in 2018 and awarded a one-year scholarship.
