An evening of recent Canadian works featuring traditional Chinese and Korean instruments, performed by Amely Zhou (erhu), Lipeng Wu (dizi), Roa Lee (gayageum) and Evan Lamberton (cello). The program will include Xintong Wang’s Query, Fear, Hate, Struggle, and Free for erhu and pre-recorded sound; Chen Ke’s Taste of Home for dizi and erhu; Andrew Timar’s Open Fifth, Open Heart for dizi, erhu, gayageum and cello, and more.
