Ryerson students were given a challenge to create activations alongside King Street as part of King Street Pilot Project back in 2018 within Toronto that needed to be fun and playful. The activations needed to encourage interactions between users, and they had to be accessible.
Imprint is a life-sized equivalent to the 3D pin-art boards that were popular in the 90s. Using large and colourful wooden dowels, the project allows passersby to leave an indentation of their whole body.
