Big Bam Boom

Big Bam Boom is the annual signature event of Arts for Children and Youth (AFCY). The festival showcases the talents of over 500 young people (ages 12-24) from Toronto’s priority neighbourhoods. The youth artists are participants of AFCY’s arts programmes, which take place in schools and community venues. Conceived and managed by AFCY’s Youth Advisory Council, Big Bam Boom is a high-energy, multi-cultural extravaganza featuring music, dance and beatboxing, as well as a dazzling art exhibition featuring paintings, photographs, videos, sculpture, graffiti and interactive art.
