Vida Ghahremani was a regular performer on Iran’s national TV, where she designed stages and puppets for numerous shows. Since coming to Canada, she has produced and directed puppet show. Her most charming puppet, Mobarak, has won the hearts of people of all ages. Vida’s puppet performances reflect her vision of inspiring hope, confidence, happiness, and imagination in her young audience. At the festival, she recounts the story of the Fairy King’s Daughter who falls in love with the commoner, Mobarak. Vida will also hold a workshop teaching children 5-12 years old how to make a puppet and perform a show.
