Food Demo with Elizabeth Rumebe


Elizabeth Rumebe is a success-driven woman with tremendous artistic abilities and a sweet tooth. She began her career as a graphic designer in Mexico. Today, more than two decades later, she is a recognized top pastry chef and a cake designer both in Canada and her native country alike.

Elizabeth established herself in Toronto in 1997, taking over the well-known European Alpine Bakery, where she built extensive clientele, including wedding planners, event planners, banquet halls, hotels, caterers and converting it into an award-winning cake design studio.

With fresh ideas, staying true to her Mexican roots, Elizabeth has introduced her traditional pastries, and her exquisite Pastel de tres leches that have had a tremendous breakthrough in the market. Today, Elizabeth heads Amaranto, reflecting the artist within through innovative designs and mouth-watering creations.
