Rain Plan - Joe Harawira

Born and bred in Whakatane in the north island of New Zealand, Harawira is a storyteller, expert in tikanga (protocols) and is a passionate teacher and performer of kapahaka (performing arts).  Joe embodies our "worldviews" sub-theme "From The Land We Walk," representing the importance of Indigenous’ ties to their homelands as well as the urban concrete places Indigenous people have migrated to.
