Karon Liu is the resident food writer at The Grid, Toronto’s weekly city magazine that covers politics, real estate, fashion, entertainment and of course, dining. After graduating from Ryerson University’s journalism program, Karon began writing about food for Toronto Life’s food blog, learning about the industry, the people and cuisines that define Toronto’s culinary landscape and most importantly, what makes a good poutine. He later became a staff writer at The Grid where his job is to demystify the city’s restaurant scene and bridge the gap between chefs and diners.
