The Power Plant
231 Queens Quay West

As part of our 25th anniversary programming, we have invited curators, artists, critics, and others to delve into The Power Plant’s history by giving informal presentations in our Dissenting Histories project space.

Fern Bayer is an independent curator and art historian. After working as a curator and consultant for the Government of Ontario from 1977 – 95, where she initiated many large international curatorial projects, she is currently completing the catalogue raisonné of the work of General Idea. Bayer will discuss the exhibition From Sea to Shining Sea (1987).
