About Terra Hazelton:

Described by some as a "Renaissance woman," multi-talented Terra Hazelton is a Canadian singer, Genie Award-nominated actress, and radio personality. Terra grew up mostly in Calgary, raised on country and folk music. She knew from a young age that singing would be in her future. Terra became involved in  theatre and comedy at the age of 14, studying with Keith Johnstone (Theatresports™). Her involvement in theatre would eventually lead her to study musical theatre in Manhattan at the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Upon returning from NY and relocating to Toronto, Terra was soon discovered by the late, great Jeff Healey. Honoured to have been the vocalist in his band the Jazz Wizards for seven years, Terra's debut album (produced by and featuring Healey) was released in 2004. Terra would also follow in Jeff's footsteps becoming a radio host at JAZZ.FM91, having hosted her own show called Timeless. Since then she has released a sophomore album, Gimme Whatcha Got, and would shortly after be cast in the Canadian cult film, FUBAR 2, for which she received a Genie nomination for Best Supporting Actress. In addition to her experiences as an actor, vocalist and radio personality, Terra worked for years traveling the world as a full-figured model, and even tried her hand at being a standup bass player, touring across Canada. It's safe to say that the future is unpredictable for this talented Jill of all trades.

"The reaction to her has been overwhelmingly positive, to say the least," said Jeff Healey. "I can say that I've rarely, if ever, seen a vocalist receive more of an outpouring of affection and adulation."
