About Julie Nhu Ha:

Performing since the age of three, Julie Nhu Ha has earned an unofficial title as the Vietnamese community’s little sweetheart. She holds a gold medal from the Ontario Dance Challenge 2011 for her solo as well as the first-prize award in singing from the Vietnamese Community Centre of Mississauga in 2009.

Julie Nhu has performed at many different events and celebrations across Toronto. In 2009, 2010, and 2011, she performed at the Mid-Autumn Celebration, the Hai Ba Trung Comemoration and the Vu Lan Festival. In 2010, 2011 and 2012, she performed at the Lunar New Year Festival, the Hung Vuong Ceremony, and the Asian Heritage Celebration. She performed at Vietnamese Association, Toronto’s Tastes and Sounds of Asia at Mel Lastman Square in May 2012 and at the Vietnamese Association, Toronto’s Vietnam Pavilion at Carabram in July 2012.

Julie Nhu was chosen to represent her school at a fundraising event for The Canadian Cancer Society which had over 10,000 people in attendance. She has also represented the Vietnamese Association, Toronto at other events such as Road to Asia (Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre), CMC Asian Food & Cultural Festival (Canadian Multicultural Council-Asians in Ontario) and the DT Entertainment Summer Festival.
