Las Catrinas

La Calavera Catrina, or The Elegant Skull, is a 1910-1913 zinc etching by famous Mexican printmaker, José Guadalupe Posada. The image reflects a female skeleton dressed in a hat and an upper class outfit. La Catrina has always been an icon of Mexican culture and Day of the Dead.

Join Las Catrinas from Ballet Folklórico Puro México as they parade around our Day of the Dead festivities.
